IT Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable IT Assistant to support day-to-day technology needs across our organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational IT skills who is comfortable working hands-on with hardware, troubleshooting user issues, and exploring modern tools—including AI-assisted or “vibe coding” platforms—to build practical solutions that improve workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and deploy user workstations (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
• Install and troubleshoot printers, network devices, and related hardware
• Provide general IT support for users (hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues)
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and permissions
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper asset tracking
• Work with modern low-code / AI-assisted development tools (“vibe coding” platforms) to create simple internal tools, automations, or workflow improvements
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization through technology
• Research and implement solutions as needed, including learning new tools on the fly

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of general IT concepts (Windows OS, networking basics, hardware components)
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common office technology
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Comfort learning new tools and technologies quickly
• Basic understanding of programming logic (variables, conditionals, loops, data flow) is highly preferred
• Familiarity with any scripting or programming language is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
