Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the creation of sound, complete business requirements for assigned projects. In additional this position will apply those requirements against our application testing methodology ensuring the end product is consistent with the original intent. This role will ensure business requirements are complete, thorough and tested. In pursuit of complete business requirements, this position will interview the sponsor(s) of the project as well as collateral contributors (stakeholders) of the project to document their needs and desires (requirements). This position is also responsible for helping contributors crystallize their thoughts to minimize the likelihood that key functionality or obvious control parameters are not omitted in the initial requirements document.
The Business Analyst will be expected to facilitate requirements discussions, capture information, document the requirements and obtain sign-off from stakeholders. Additionally this position will lead assigned projects through the testing phase ensuring that test cases are built which exercise the application against original requirements. It will be the responsibility of this position to ensure any new requirements identified in the testing phase are appropriately channeled through the change control process.
The position will require management of risks, completion of status reports, approving deliverables and post deliverable assessment. Significant interaction with SCA leaders will be a requirement of this position so this individual must be comfortable working with the highest levels of senior management.

Technical Understanding

Posses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design

Possess a thorough understanding of information technology capabilities
Client Management

Develop lasting business relationships with client personnel

Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

Build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives
QA

Apply business requirements to SCA’s testing methodologies and create test scripts

Oversee the application of test scripts to ensure the desired result

Create a test plan and perform hands-on testing of the applications when necessary

Log and report progress against the project’s test plan as necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment

Bachelor’s degree or significant business requirements experience required

Experience building business requirements, test scripts and/or test plans required

Experience with Visio and Word and Outlook

Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including a proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment

Relevant certification or advanced degrees a plus

Proven ability to manage key stakeholders while managing completing priorities

Strong leadership skills including conflict/issue resolution

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with clients, stakeholders and senior management

Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments

Preferred to have previous HR/Talent Acquisition and/or Revenue Cycle experience
