IT Business Analyst IV

GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced and highly analytical IT Business Analyst IV to lead business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design in a remote work environment. The candidate will serve as a senior liaison between business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams, ensuring that system solutions align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

• Serve as the lead business analyst on complex, high-impact technology projects and initiatives.
• Gather, document, and analyze detailed business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform gap analysis and feasibility studies to assess current systems against business objectives.
• Design and recommend process improvements, automation strategies, and system enhancements.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and techniques.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate decision-making, and ensure alignment across departments.
• Develop use cases, workflows, process models, and user stories to support solution development.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, system configurations, and support procedures.
• Partner with PMO to support project planning, scope definition, and risk assessment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 4-8 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-level initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and systems.
• Advanced proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq, MS Project).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or Agile certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner).
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise data systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and database query tools (e.g., SQL).

• This work is normally completed in a remote environment.

Physical demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations and client facilities.
