IT Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Location:
Remote, West of the Rockies or Texas
Role Overview:
The IT Business Analyst works with Project Managers, business users, sponsors, the IT team, and managed service providers to implement and support IT applications. The IT Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, understanding, and validating business needs on IT projects, including gathering, compiling, and documenting business requirements and translating them into clear functional documents.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role:
  • Meet with business users to collect, analyze, and document business requirements; provide estimates and determine project scope.
  • Work with the field service management team to develop and implement new processes and systems that improve the efficiency of field service operations.
  • Troubleshoot end user and system related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users and other IT staff to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to provide efficient and effective service.
  • Determine test requirements, prepare test plans, and execute test scripts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance applications and user experience.
  • Communicate issues and resolution progress to all stakeholders.
What You Bring to this Role:
  • 5+ years of professional experience working, configuring, and implementing enterprise-scale applications (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Familiarity and/or working experience with Sales, Distribution, Planning, and Manufacturing modules
  • Hands on experience in SQL
  • Experience configuring and customizing business applications to meet business requirements
  • Experience as a Functional Analyst with ability to inquire, understand, articulate, and document business requirements and impacts
  • Strong documentation skills (artifacts & deliverables) including functional specs, BR documents, etc.
  • Proven skills in problem solving, troubleshooting, and interpreting solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or MIS
  • Experience working on B2b/EDI processes (preferred)
  • Manufacturing, CPG, Food Service, or wholesale industry experience (preferred)
  • Power BI, and/or other reporting and analytical tools experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM, iPaaS, SaaS platforms (preferred)
  • Knowledge of and experience in SaaS-based mobile workforce applications (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:
  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $80,200 - $106,880. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
