IT Business Intelligence Analyst

This role is on-site in Greenville, SC
Hours: Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm

Position Summary

We are seeking a multi-disciplined Microsoft Power Platform technical asset to support data analytics, business process automation, digital forms, API-based integrations, and enterprise document management initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing Power BI reporting from Microsoft Fabric data warehouses, building and maintaining Power Automate-based e-forms, integrating form data with our ERP via RESTful APIs, and assisting with SharePoint-based Document Management System (DMS) workflows, approvals, and notifications.

Position Responsibilities - Essential

Power BI & Business Analytics

  • Build Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Fabric data warehouses
  • Develop business metrics and KPIs with department leaders

Power Automate & e-Form Development

  • Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for e-form submissions and approvals.
  • Develop notification, routing, and exception-handling processes
  • Create digital forms using Power Apps or SharePoint forms
  • Ensure workflows are scalable, secure, and monitored

RESTful API Integration with ERP Systems

  • Develop integrations for sending and retrieving data between Power Platform components and the ERP
  • Create and maintain Custom Connectors for REST APIs
  • Document integration mappings and workflows

SharePoint Document Management System

  • Create approval workflows and notification triggers through Power Automate
  • Assist business units with the creation of libraries, workflows, and automations

Collaboration, Support, & Governance

  • Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Document workflows, integration architecture, and reporting assets
  • Support governance processes, including environment strategy and change management

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • 2–5+ years of experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
  • Experience creating complex automated workflows
  • Ability to build user-friendly digital forms
  • Strong Power BI development experience using Fabric data warehouses
  • Practical experience integrating workflows with REST APIs
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, JSON, HTTP methods, and custom connectors
  • Experience supporting SharePoint Online architecture
  • Knowledge of metadata, content types, and permissions
  • Workflow integration using Power Automate
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps or Functions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor, Infor, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Experience with Power Platform ALM and Git-based deployments
  • SQL querying and data modeling experience
