Pay Range: $22.09 – $22.94 per hour (subject to adjustment)

About The Resource Exchange (TRE)

The Resource Exchange (TRE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through person-centered support focused on independence, inclusion, and collaboration.

Position Summary

The IT Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of IT systems across the organization. This role supports staff with entry-level technical needs, coordinates onboarding and offboarding processes, maintains equipment inventory, and assists with system updates and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Coordinate setup and deployment of equipment for new hires
  • Conduct onboarding sessions, including system access, login support, and basic training
  • Manage collection of equipment and system access for departing employees
  • Maintain accurate inventory of laptops, mobile devices, monitors, and accessories

Technical Support

  • Provide in-person and remote support for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or escalate as needed
  • Assist staff with system navigation, including email, intranet, and standard applications
  • Support conference room technology and printer configurations

Systems Administration and Documentation

  • Assist with maintaining Active Directory and Azure environments
  • Update user roles, permissions, and system access as needed
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, systems, and vendor contacts
  • Track system licenses, upgrades, and equipment lifecycle

Travel and Collaboration

  • Travel weekly to branch offices in Pueblo, Park, and Teller counties
  • Support staff across multiple locations to ensure consistent IT operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in Information Technology or technical support
  • Experience managing IT equipment (laptops, phones, monitors)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with Azure, Active Directory, Intune, or similar systems
  • Experience with IT troubleshooting and system administration
  • Technical certifications
  • Experience using PowerShell

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and organization

Work Environment and Requirements

  • Primarily office-based in Colorado Springs with travel to regional offices
  • Requires use of a personal vehicle, valid Colorado driver’s license, and insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform moderate physical activity
  • Work may occur in office, community, residential, and virtual environments
