IT Delivery Lead

When you work at Trex, you’re helping to grow and enhance a true original. You join a company that boldly launched an entire industry… and still leads the way.

The Delivery Lead is responsible for leading delivery operations, execution flow, and operational accountability across multiple squads supporting digital consumer experience and core enterprise applications. This role ensures work moves effectively from roadmap initiative through execution, validation, and release with the clarity, readiness, discipline, and transparency needed for predictable, high-quality outcomes.

This role partners closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Delivery Analysts, and offshore technical and QA leads to support a hybrid onshore/offshore operating model. The Delivery Lead helps ensure business-facing ambiguity is resolved early, work is properly decomposed before development begins, dependencies are actively managed, and delivery risks are surfaced and addressed before they impact outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong delivery leadership, sound operational judgment, and the ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams without becoming the owner of product strategy, requirements authoring, or technical architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Put safety first – Always!
  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Lead delivery operations across digital consumer experience and core enterprise applications squads
  • Drive execution flow from initiative activation through epic decomposition, sprint readiness, build execution, validation, and retrospective improvement
  • Enforce readiness standards to ensure work is sufficiently defined, decomposed, and vetted before entering development
  • Partner with Product Managers to support roadmap execution while protecting squads from avoidable churn, poorly defined work, and chaotic reprioritization
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Delivery Analysts to ensure business intent is translated into clear, execution-ready delivery artifacts
  • Partner with Solution Architects and offshore Tech Leads to identify delivery risks, dependencies, and technical constraints early in the lifecycle
  • Partner with offshore QA leads to ensure testing strategy, acceptance coverage, and quality execution are aligned with delivery expectations
  • Establish and maintain visibility into delivery health using metrics, dashboards, and operational reviews
  • Monitor and act on key delivery signals, including blocked work, aging work, missed commitments, rework, readiness failures, dependency issues, and defect trends
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams for delivery commitments, process discipline, and role expectations
  • Distinguish between roadmap work, routine business needs, and urgent operational interruptions to protect delivery flow and improve prioritization discipline
  • Surface and escalate material risks, recurring breakdowns, and cross-team blockers to leadership in a timely and actionable manner
  • Lead or support retrospectives and continuous improvement activities focused on reducing churn, strengthening readiness, and improving predictability
  • Help mature and reinforce a scalable delivery operating model across Adobe-focused squads in a hybrid onshore/offshore environment
