IT Delivery Partner- Oil & Gas

Overview

NextEra is seeking a dynamic Delivery Partner to lead our Oil & Gas vertical in Saudi Arabia.

This strategic role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across upstream, midstream, and downstream projects, strengthening client relationships, and positioning NextEra as a trusted leader in energy delivery and transformation.

Position Objective

The Delivery Partner will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring seamless project delivery and consistent quality of service for clients in the Oil and Gas sector. This includes high-level coordination with national energy entities, joint ventures, and private sector stakeholders to manage resources and drive projects to successful completion. The goal is to deliver high client satisfaction and project outcomes through meticulous planning, execution, and quality oversight.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with energy sector goals and sustainability mandates.
• Build and manage high-performance, integrated teams within client organizations.
• Represent and champion the organization within the energy ecosystem and stakeholder landscape.

Client Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Oil and Gas clients and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Mitigate escalations and issues related to delivery, compliance, and safety.

Program and Project Management:

• Develop detailed project plans, define scope, and manage timelines for upstream, midstream, and downstream projects.
• Oversee execution of multiple projects across exploration, production, refining, and distribution.
• Track milestones and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Manage budgets exceeding $10M, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions based on performance analytics.

Resource and Risk Management:

• Allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and technology across complex project environments.
• Ensure teams are equipped to meet milestones and safety benchmarks.
• Identify risks including environmental, operational, and regulatory, and develop mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

• Implement standardized QA processes across all projects.
• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to ISO, API, and client-specific standards.
• Drive continuous improvement based on feedback and performance reviews.
• Deliver training on best practices in energy project execution and quality management.

Innovation and IP Creation:

• Develop tools and accelerators tailored to KSA's Oil and Gas geography and regulatory environment.
• Create industry solutions and differentiators for NextEra in upstream and downstream verticals.

Education & Work Experience

• 18+ years in delivery and quality assurance roles within the Oil and Gas sector, preferably in KSA or the Middle East.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale energy projects and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelors in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Masters in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
