Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced IT Hardware, Software, and Networking Engineer to manage and maintain the school's complete IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling hardware maintenance, software installation and troubleshooting, as well as networking and internet-related issues across multiple school campuses.
Key Responsibilities: Hardware Management
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, biometric machines, CCTV, and smart classroom equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware-related issues.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.
Software Support
- Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software applications.
- Provide support for educational software, school ERP systems, antivirus, and office productivity tools.
- Maintain software licensing and documentation.
Networking & Connectivity
- Set up and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, modems, and wireless access points.
- Monitor and troubleshoot internet connectivity and internal networking issues.
- Ensure network security, firewall management, and data backup systems are in place.
User Support
- Provide technical support to teaching and non-teaching staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Train school staff on basic IT usage and troubleshoot user-level problems.
IT Administration
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets.
- Create and manage documentation for IT processes, network configurations, and support logs.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, repairs, and maintenance contracts (AMC).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, Windows OS, and basic Linux.
- Proficiency in networking concepts: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with smart class setups, projectors, CCTV, and biometric systems.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
