IT Director

Our client is a start-up Vision 2030 entity in the Leisure and Sport sector. The IT Director will be based in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the IT strategy to support overall organisational objectives.
• Implementing enterprise systems, IT Infrastructure, Security controls, etc.
• Overseeing the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Managing IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilisation of resources.
• Ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
• Monitoring emerging trends and recommending relevant technology solutions.
• Identifying and managing technology vendors/service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices in technology management.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in establishing IT functions from scratch.
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Strong decision-making and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience in the public sector, leisure and sport sector or a similar environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A track record of delivering cost-effective and innovative IT solutions.
• Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
