IT Engineer (Infrastructure & Support) (Freight Forwarding /Supply Chain Industry)

Hiring for a leading MNC into Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain:

Job Title: IT Engineer – Infrastructure and Support

Location: Mumbai (Wadala East)

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking hardware (LAN/WAN)

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group

policies

• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Support hybrid or cloud environments Microsoft 365.

• Implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure components

IT Support:

• Provide Tier 1–3 technical support to internal users (hardware, software, network)

• Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

• Troubleshoot hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) and software (OS, business apps)

• Basic Knowledge of SAP and Tally

• Knowledge of BOT process, PowerShell.

• Support remote access and VPN solutions

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and procurement

Documentation & Projects:

• Document infrastructure changes, configurations, and standard operating procedures

• Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts

• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize IT operations

• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or

equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and user support

• Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols

• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)

• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure AD, Office 365, AWS)

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Total: 4 years (Preferred)
• IT Infrastructure Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Location:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra (Preferred)
