The ERP Business/Technical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functional and technical management and future implementation of PeopleSoft (PS) Human Resource and Financial Management systems and applications as well as any other applications that support PS functionality. This position has the authority to make decisions that will keep the PS systems functioning effectively. The ERP Business/Technical Manager’s work involves considerable functional and technical knowledge of the PS application system in order to lead project development. This position manages and participates in future implementations, ongoing analysis, and daily interactions with all PS modules, including (but not limited to) the following: Asset Management, Budgeting, Project Costing, Payroll, Accounts Receivables/Billing, General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Human Resources, Benefits and Time & Labor. This position oversees the PS functional experts in the various offices using PS as it relates to PS functionality and implementation. The position also oversees and reviews the efficiency of the PS application technical support system and training. This position is responsible for communicating with Elected Officials, Department Heads, and other County management members regarding PS and other ERP services provided by IT.
