IT Financial Analyst

We are currently recruiting a Information Technology Financial Analyst for our client based in Dubai, UAE.


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail‑oriented IT Financial Analyst to support IT management in overseeing technology spend across multiple teams, projects, and countries. The role involves delivering clear financial insights, ensuring accurate tracking of IT costs, and supporting strategic decision-making through reliable reporting.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support IT leadership with planning, forecasting, and tracking technology spend across projects, teams, and countries.
  • Analyze IT expenses and compare actuals with project budgets and annual plans.
  • Monitor monthly IRIS/LUMI/HSU expenses, including capex, run/change, and Accenture-related costs.
  • Maintain timesheet documents for IRIS, LUMI, and HUS systems.
  • Identify capitalizable expenses, especially within IRIS projects.
  • Manage IT expense amortization, reporting, and charge-outs across various jurisdictions.
  • Extract and analyze 782 Ledger reports by supplier and budget owner for CFO/CIO reporting.
  • Update monthly Travel & Entertainment (787) reports by employee, cost center, and business unit.
  • Own the end‑to‑end IT Product Document (PD) cycle across budget owners, cost centers, BUs, and Run/Change categories.
  • Track and update Italy IT cost allocations.
  • Prepare monthly Local IT Cube reports and compare them to plans, prior year, and group-level benchmarks.
  • Maintain and enhance IT chargeback models for internal business units.
  • Update monthly IT project costs based on timesheet submissions.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, and Finance teams to automate reporting, simplify workflows, and improve data accuracy.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or similar) are an advantage.
  • 3-4 years of experience in IT financial analysis, technology cost management, FP&A.
  • Experience working with large, multi-country IT Finance exposure or within an Insurance industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience with accounting software, financial reporting tools, or ERP systems.
  • Understanding of capex vs. opex, amortization, and project budgeting.
  • Exposure to IT cost allocation models, chargeback frameworks, or timesheet-based cost tracking is a plus.
