transmed is looking for an experienced it governance and risk manager to join our information technology team in cairo, egypt. if you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in it audit, risk management, and financial control, we want to hear from you.

location: cairo, egypt reports to: head of it demand and portfolio management

key responsibilities:

• lead internal and external it audits, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
• develop and enforce it policies and procedures to ensure operational compliance.
• maintain and test business continuity plans (bcp) and disaster recovery (dr) strategies.
• manage it vendor lifecycles, performance evaluations, and risk assessments.
• oversee it budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• maintain the it risk register and promote a risk-aware culture across the organization.

requirements :

• bachelor’s degree in it, computer science, finance, or a related field.
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in it governance, audit, risk, or operations.
• knowledge of frameworks such as itil, cobit, or iso 27001.
• professional certifications (cisa, crisc, itil, iso lead auditor, or pmp) are a major plus.
• fluent in english; knowledge of arabic, french, turkish, or german is an advantage.
• strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
