IT Governance Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• IT policy creation, review, update, awareness and monitoring
• IT processes analysis, implementation and improvement
• IT governance reporting
• Internal and external Audit liaison/Action Follow up and reporting
• Supporting key IT processes such as Financial Management, Supplier Management and Continuous Improvement
• Proactively identifying control gaps and taking actions to remediate
• Auditing and ensuring the procedures and applications related to supply management which are implemented within Information Technologies
• To ensure that the training of information technologies is collected and evaluated together and reporting final results to the human resources training unit
• Making necessary announcements within the company related to processes and procedures associated with QNB’s methodology, and providing training support to relevant information technologies units regarding these processes and procedures
• Main risk management responsibility is to identify improvements and breakdowns in IT governance elements with significant business impact and feed into IT risk management function
• Measuring IT performance and KPIs.
• Measuring SLAs for suppliers of Governance field
• Following the activities and tasks of Governance’s suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills and business communication skills
• Advanced English skills, written and verbal.
• Knowledge about IT Governance Standards (COBIT, ITIL etc.)
• Qualifications or certification in line with above responsibilities is advantageous
• Finding creative and innovative ways to solve problems.
• Candidate must be thorough and give attention to details
• Analytical thinking and the ability to break down the components but still be able to see the bigger picture.
• Candidate should demonstrate the ability to plan and manage a multitude of tasks.
