As an IT Help Desk team member, you play a key role in helping residents stay connected, engaged, and confident in using technology. Your support enhances daily life for our community while contributing to a collaborative and responsive IT team.
- Provide end-user IT support and training for residents across the Kendal at Lexington community
- Support a variety of devices including Apple computers, iPhones, iPads, Windows computers, Android phones, and tablets
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist residents with software applications including email, Microsoft Office, resident engagement platforms, and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Provide end-user IT support for staff as needed
- Assist with audio/visual setup for meetings, events, and presentations
- Support installation, removal, and setup of IT equipment across campus
- Assist with preparing equipment for e-waste disposal
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
- Prioritize and manage daily tasks effectively while responding to support requests
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and strong communication when working with residents, families, and staff
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support preferred
- Experience providing hardware and software support to end users
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Apple products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
