IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in deploying and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. The role involves server installation, network switch and firewall configuration, structured cabling, and on-site support for IT infrastructure projects.

This position suits engineers who want strong practical exposure across servers, networking, and security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, mount, and commission servers, network switches, and firewalls at customer sites and data centers.
• Perform basic configuration of firewalls, including interfaces, routing, security policies, NAT, and VPNs under supervision or approved designs.
• Configure network switches (VLANs, access/trunk ports, basic routing where required).
• Assist with server installation and basic OS / hypervisor support.
• Execute structured cabling tasks including Ethernet and fiber termination, labeling, testing, and rack dressing.
• Provide on-site technical support for ongoing IT infrastructure deployments and operational issues.
• Support troubleshooting of hardware, network, and firewall-related issues and escalate to senior engineers or OEM TAC when needed.
• Maintain installation documentation, asset records, and site reports.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment or support.
• Working knowledge of:
• Servers (rack servers, power, NICs, basic OS support)
• Network switches (Layer 2 fundamentals, VLANs)
• Firewalls (basic configuration, policies, NAT, routing concepts)
• Structured cabling (Cat6, fiber optics)
• Familiarity with data center environments and on-site deployment practices.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as per project requirements.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to OEMs such as Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Sophos, Palo Alto, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Entry-level certifications (CCNA, NSE 1–3 / FCP Associate, Network+) are a plus.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
