IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist / Administrator

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist/Administrator responsible for managing IT systems, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint security, network infrastructure, and compliance controls. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, Intune, Defender, UniFi infrastructure, VPN, device management, and ISO/SOC 2 security practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, users, licenses, and access permissions.

· Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows and macOS device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment, and lifecycle management.

· Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to ensure device protection, threat detection, and response.

· Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Intune integration for macOS enrollment and compliance.

· Configure and support UniFi infrastructure including UDM Pro, VPN, firewall policies, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.

· Manage VPN access including full tunnel/split tunnel routing, remote user access, and VPN troubleshooting.

· Handle employee onboarding and offboarding including Microsoft 365 accounts, device setup, email access, permissions, and security policies.

· Manage shared mailboxes, calendar permissions, mailbox delegation, and Microsoft 365 access control.

· Configure and maintain BitLocker encryption, BIOS security, USB control policies, and endpoint protection standards.

· Maintain IT asset inventory, device naming conventions, and infrastructure documentation.

· Support file-sharing infrastructure, OneDrive/cloud storage policies, backup planning, disaster recovery readiness, and storage management.

· Monitor and maintain backup systems, UDM Pro configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.

· Implement and monitor data center security controls including access restrictions, logging, monitoring, and hardware redundancy planning.

· Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for infrastructure deployments, hardware procurement, cloud services, and technical support.

· Enforce software whitelisting, admin access control, USB restrictions, and endpoint compliance standards.

· Conduct regular security reviews, audits, vulnerability checks, and policy enforcement across systems and networks.

· Support ISO and SOC 2 compliance initiatives through proper documentation, access controls, security monitoring, and infrastructure hardening.

· Provide day-to-day technical support for users, applications, networking, onboarding, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, users, groups, and licensing.

· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, device enrollment, compliance policies, app management, and endpoint lifecycle management.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, threat monitoring, device security, and response processes.

· Experience with UniFi/UDM Pro, VPN, VLANs, firewall rules, routing, and network troubleshooting.

· Understanding of Apple Business Manager and macOS device enrollment through Intune.

· Strong knowledge of access control, MFA, role-based permissions, shared mailbox management, and identity security.

· Experience with backup planning, disaster recovery, file sharing, and cloud storage policies.

· Understanding of ISO, SOC 2, security frameworks, and compliance documentation.

· Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

· Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, Azure/Intune, Security+, ISO, or networking certifications will be a plus.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per hour
