Overview

The IT Lead for Enabling Functions adds value to the Pakistan Enabling Functions (Finance, HR, Legal, and Communications) within the Snacks and Beverages business by driving the digitization of business processes and delivering technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include managing business partner relationships through demand shaping and value assessments, serving as the project manager for end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives, and acting as the primary IT contact person for assigned functions. The role works closely with the Sector IT team to determine strategic direction, explore new technologies, identify lift-and-shift opportunities, and ensure timely delivery of solutions and services with minimal business disruption in line with agreed SLAs.

The role also promotes the adoption of relevant technologies, participates in business initiatives, supports process changes, and ensures compliance with all IT controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Deliver Growth

  • Manage cross-functional business relationships to deliver value-adding technology solutions.
  • Shape business demand into specific projects, including prioritization with stakeholders and resource identification.
  • Ensure end-to-end delivery of projects within the annual operating plan and manage IT stakeholder engagement for PepsiCo Pakistan.

Create Efficiency

  • Provide timely business updates on all ongoing projects.
  • Identify critical capability gaps within areas of responsibility and collaborate with relevant teams to design solutions.
  • Own the solution agenda end-to-end - from initiation to execution and business adoption - for assigned processes, including global solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes based on incidents, problems, and learnings.
  • Enhance system usage and information capabilities across the organization.
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery by PLM guidelines, meeting scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with IT control standards.

Drive Future Success

  • Build strong relationships with senior business leaders to shape future demands.
  • Leverage long-term technology roadmaps and recommend alternatives that meet business and financial requirements.
  • Identify and promote the use of existing and emerging technologies to improve productivity or develop new business capabilities.
  • Improve user capability through training programs and coordinated knowledge-building initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with an IT background.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in core IT roles.
  • Experience in a multinational FMCG corporate environment in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong business relationship management experience, with confidence in engaging senior leadership.

Competencies

  • Strong SAP experience.
  • Ability to assess external technology capabilities while understanding business strategy and proposing value-adding solutions.
  • Capability to shape and manage business demand effectively.
  • Strong business analysis skills.
  • Proven project management and execution experience.
  • Solid understanding of technology risk management and IT controls.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT project management lifecycle.
