Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee the Information Technology (IT) department within the organization, ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are in line with the company’s strategic goals. The position will be responsible for leading the IT team, managing the IT budget, and evaluating our current systems and networking structure to highlight risks and potential opportunities. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, ideal for a forward-thinking IT professional passionate about leveraging technology for operational excellence.

Classification: Full-Time/Exempt
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000
Location: 100% on-site at Napa, CA offices
You Will:
- Ensure that the company’s IT infrastructure supports its operational activities across production, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution.

Work with senior management and ownership in helping translate strategies, ideas and concerns into legitimate, concrete actions and problem-solving initiatives.

Collaborate with department leads to understand business needs and evaluate potential opportunities to support growth and improve efficiency.

Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that all spending and new initiatives are aligned with business priorities.

Identify opportunities for cost savings through technology optimizations or vendor negotiations.

Continued evaluation and management of our ERP (Microsoft NAV/Dynamics)

Oversee the management, maintenance, and potential upgrading of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage.

Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect all company data.

When applicable, work with key stakeholders in reviewing new technologies and/or software applications.

Manage partnerships with third-party vendors and service providers for software, cloud solutions, and hardware.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.

Build and retain talent, ensuring the IT department has the skills and capabilities required to deliver technology initiatives.

Promote cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that IT serves as a strategic partner to other business units.

Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, such as those related to traceability in wine production, quality control standards, and labeling requirements.

Manage IT risk assessments and implement contingency plans, including disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Develop and ensure consistent technical documentation deliverables (diagrams, SOPs, KB’s, Policies, etc.).

Occasionally come in after hours for trouble shooting

You Have:
- Minimum of 10 years IT experience and 5 years of related role experience.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related area or 6 years of equivalent work experience.

Prior experience with architecting system/data center infrastructure design for medium sized business.

4+ virtualization experience, including Hyper-V and VMware.

6+ years Active Directory management and troubleshooting experience.

6+ years in Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems 2012 through 2019.

2+ years with databases technologies and SQL databases is preferred.

Demonstrated experience using PowerShell Scripting and other scripting and automation tools.

Experience with DR, backup (Veeam), and cloud storage technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)

Strong experience supporting Microsoft Server and O365 applications and administration.

Experience with network, security and VoIP system administration a plus.

Experience as a Network Engineer and Administration of Azure technologies a plus.

Microsoft Azure and ITIL certifications are a plus
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, swing or graveyard shifts and extended hours as business dictates.

Can lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will work near moving mechanical parts.
- Work environment can range from hot, damp, dry and cold, depending on the time of year
