IT Manager

Deanan Gourmet Popcorn is seeking an experienced and self-sufficient IT Manager to oversee and support all aspects of our internal technology systems. As the sole IT professional in the company, you’ll be responsible for maintaining infrastructure, supporting end-users, managing key platforms like NetSuite and Shopify, and ensuring system security and uptime.

This is a hands-on, full-time, in-person role reporting directly to the CEO. You'll collaborate with every department to keep operations running smoothly and will occasionally need to address urgent issues outside of standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure & Support:

Maintain company hardware and software systems, support desktops, printers, and devices, manage IT inventory, and onboard/offboard employees.

• NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning Administration:

Manage user roles, permissions, customizations, workflows, and reporting in NetSuite. Provide user support and act as the primary point of contact for the platform.

• Shopify Website Management:

Maintain product listings, troubleshoot issues, manage third-party app integrations, support content updates, and optimize e-commerce functionality.

• Cybersecurity & Network Oversight:

Ensure secure and reliable network operations, manage VPNs, firewalls, data backups, antivirus software, and disaster recovery protocols.

• Email Marketing & Social Media Access:

Maintain secure access to company social media accounts (no content creation). Report on email campaign performance (conversion rates, opens, clicks, etc.).

• Vendor & License Management:

Oversee relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Manage software licensing, renewals, and equipment procurement.

• Technology Planning & Support:

Identify system improvements, recommend upgrades, and provide IT strategy updates to the CEO. Respond to technical emergencies as needed, including after-hours.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 5+ years in IT administration, support, or infrastructure roles.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Tools:

• NetSuite (admin-level experience)
• Shopify (site management, basic troubleshooting)
• Microsoft 365, SharePoint
• Windows desktop environment
• Networking & cybersecurity fundamentals

Personal Traits:

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable supporting a range of users with varying technical skill levels

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid theme editing
• Strong skills in designing and building websites that create clean, responsive, and engaging sites that look great and work smoothly across all devices
• Knowledge of PowerApps or MS Access
• Understanding of PCI DSS compliance standards
• Setting up API’s to automate manual processes across multiple systems
