IT Manager

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

8+ Years, 3 years in a managerial/leadership role

Required/Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of server infrastructure, networking, cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud), virtualization, storage, and backup solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, ERP/CRM systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Proven expertise in IT security, firewalls, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end, from design to deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in SMEs or fast-growing companies is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities

The role will include but will not be limited to the below tasks

1. IT Infrastructure & Systems Management·

  • Design, implement, and manage the company’s entire IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network, cloud solutions, end-user devices).
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software across all business units.
  • Ensure system availability, uptime, and disaster recovery preparedness.

2. IT Strategy & Planning·

  • Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation and process automation.·
  • Recommend cost-effective solutions, hardware/software upgrades, and system improvements.

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance·

  • Establish and enforce IT security policies, firewalls, backups, and disaster recovery plans.·
  • Protect company data, systems, and networks against internal and external threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy, and IT standards.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management·

  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee implementation of third-party solutions.·
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and provide IT support.

5. Support & Troubleshooting

  • Oversee IT helpdesk operations to ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.·
  • Train and guide employees on IT systems, best practices, and cybersecurity awareness.

6. Leadership & Team Management·

  • Lead and mentor the IT team (or external contractors if team is small).
  • Build IT policies, SOPs, and documentation for smooth operations.
  • Create a culture of innovation, security awareness, and service excellence.

Please note that any other duties that may arise as the department requirement may be added as per management discretion.
