IT Manager - Computer Company - KSA site

Responsibilities

· Supervise the maintenance of servers, networks, and databases to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.

· Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff; manage daily work assignments and performance reviews.

· Implement robust security protocols, manage disaster recovery (DR) plans, and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR or SOC 2.

· Lead full-lifecycle technology initiatives, such as ERP implementations or cloud migrations, while adhering to budget and timelines.

· Develop annual IT budgets, monitor resource allocation, and negotiate with external vendors for hardware and software acquisition.

· Collaborate with other department heads to identify technology needs and align IT initiatives with organizational growth.

Skills & Qualifications

· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT is standard; a Master’s (MIS or MBA) is often preferred for senior roles.

· Typically 5–10 years of total IT experience, with at least 2–5 years in a leadership or management role.

· Expert knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), and network architecture.

· Valuable credentials include PMP (Project Management), ITIL (Service Management), and CISSP or CISM (Security).
