We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the complete IT operations of a luxury hospitality property in Doha. The ideal candidate must have strong experience within luxury hotels or 5-star hospitality environments and possess excellent technical, operational, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all hotel IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and hardware
- Ensure smooth operation of PMS, POS, CCTV, Wi-Fi, IPTV, telephony, and related hotel systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimize operational downtime
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, backups, disaster recovery, and data protection protocols
- Provide technical support to all hotel departments and end users
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for system maintenance and upgrades
- Plan and execute IT projects, installations, and system improvements
- Maintain IT documentation, inventory, licenses, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and hospitality standards
- Lead and supervise IT support staff and technicians
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
- Mandatory experience in luxury hospitality or 5-star hotel operations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Network administration
- Server management
- Cybersecurity
- Windows/Linux systems
- CCTV and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- PMS/POS systems
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Relevant IT certifications will be an advantage
