Job Title: IT Manager (Odoo ERP – Full Stack & Functional Lead)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced IT Manager with deep expertise across all Odoo modules and architecture. The candidate will lead IT operations while managing full-cycle Odoo ERP implementation, customization, integration, and optimization across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities:1. IT Management & Strategy
- Oversee company-wide IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and systems
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals
- Manage IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Ensure high system availability, data protection, and compliance
2. Odoo ERP Implementation & Management (All Modules)
- Lead end-to-end implementation and management of Odoo ERP, including:
Core Modules:
- Accounting & Finance
- Sales & CRM
- Purchase & Inventory
- HR, Payroll & Recruitment
- Project Management
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- Maintenance
- Helpdesk / Support
Advanced / Extended Modules:
- Website & eCommerce
- Point of Sale (POS)
- Marketing Automation (Email, SMS, Social)
- Field Service
- Quality Management
- Documents Management
- Fleet Management
- Timesheets
- Configure, customize, and optimize modules based on business needs
- Ensure seamless integration between all modules
3. Technical Development & Customization
- Customize Odoo using Python, XML, and Odoo framework
- Develop custom modules and workflows
- Manage PostgreSQL databases and performance tuning
- Handle API integrations (payment gateways, biometric devices, third-party systems)
- Manage Odoo.sh or on-premise deployment
4. System Integration & Automation
- Integrate Odoo with external systems (banking, government portals, HR systems, etc.)
- Automate business processes and reporting
- Implement dashboards and real-time analytics
5. Data Management & Security
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery planning
- Implement cybersecurity measures and access control policies
- Monitor system logs and audit trails
6. Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and supervise IT and Odoo functional/technical teams
- Provide user training and system documentation
- Coordinate with department heads for system improvements
- Manage external consultants and vendors
7. System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Plan and execute Odoo upgrades and migrations
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime
- Continuously improve system performance and scalability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in IT management
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (v13–v17 or latest versions)
- Proven experience handling full ERP lifecycle implementation
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript (for Odoo customization)
- Expertise in PostgreSQL database management
- Experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Odoo.sh)
- API integration (REST, JSON-RPC)
- Version control (Git)
Functional Expertise in Odoo:
- Deep understanding of:
- Financial workflows (invoicing, taxation, reporting)
- Supply chain & inventory management
- HR and payroll processing
- CRM and sales pipelines
- Manufacturing and operations
Preferred Skills:
- Odoo Certification (Functional/Technical)
- Experience in multi-company, multi-branch environments
- Knowledge of local compliance (e.g., VAT regulations)
- Experience in property management, contracting, or service industries
