Who you are
Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, strategic, and highly organized IT Manager to lead and strengthen our information technology operations in support of our youth development initiatives. In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of key information systems and technology services, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and security.
You will be responsible for the planning, design, installation, and implementation of technology systems, as well as directing their ongoing operation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will also oversee budgeting, cost management, rate planning, staff supervision, and professional development to ensure technology resources effectively support organizational goals.

Your Role
- Responsible for the oversight of specific information systems and services in support of business continuity and day-to-day operations.
- Manages administrative responsibilities related to specific information systems and services.
- Employs technical and administrative expertise in the development of specifications for information systems and services in support of P4L objectives.
- Analyzes operational aspects of assigned areas and prepares activity/progress reports and recommendations for improvements.
- Organizes, directs, and supervises activities for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Hires and manages all aspects of performance and initiates personnel actions.
- Plans and implements staff training programs.
- Assists in the diagnosis and remediation of technology incidents, including hardware, software, systems, and information security problems.
- Collaborates with and advises user departments with regard to the feasibility of systems and procedures.
Your skills
- Graduated or currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Two years of managerial or leadership experience in a similar capacity preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and interpersonal; a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit.
- Strong ability to multitask, be flexible, and solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment.
- A results-oriented spirit and a willingness to grow and build toward the success of programs
- Ability to maintain a high level of commitment, energy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Be comfortable facilitating meetings and presenting in company meetings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Google Workplace and Asana or related software.
Time Commitment: Estimated time commitment: 8-10 hours/week, depending on needs, including monthly meetings and weekly conference calls.
Term limit: 6 months (can be mutually extended).
