IT MANAGER - SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE

KEY RESULT AREAS:
1. Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise-grade applications (web, mobile, Application Programming Interface(API)-first

platforms) to ensure that modularity, reusability and security are in line with enterprise architecture guidelines.

2. Contribute to the evaluation and selection of scalable technology stacks aligned with business goals, leveraging modern paradigms like

microservices, containers and serverless components.

3. Ensure application performance, scalability and observability by implementing high availability strategies and designing API integration

patterns that align with enterprise architecture standards.

4. Design and implement data solutions, including data warehouses, pipelines, to support analytics by ensuring alignment with the broader

data strategy and integration with BI tools, while adhering to enterprise data governance policies.

5. Collaborate with IT governance, security and quality teams to ensure compliance with security standards, quality assurance across the

application and data platforms.

6. Provide architectural guidance for critical IT projects, ensuring compliance with approved enterprise architecture frameworks and best

practices

7. Drive digital transformation by delivering innovative technology solutions to enhance efficiency, modernize processes, and create

measurable business value.

8. Enforce design and architecture principles to ensure technology solutions are developed within a consistent, scalable, and compliant

enterprise architecture framework.

9. Identify potential architectural risks in solution designs and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system integrity, security and

resilience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Education Qualification:

• Bachelor*s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field,
• Master*s degree preferred,
• TOGAF certification preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum experience of 7 years with proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect in large-scale security and enterprise

infrastructure implementation projects.

• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise application frameworks (.NET Core, Java Spring, Node.js)
• Experience with cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for compute, storage, and databases
• Experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis) and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in data platform tools: Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.
• Experience in designing APIs, microservices, and modern integration patterns
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and infrastructure-as-code
• Background in Agile/SAFE methodologies and digital transformation programs
• Experience in data security, privacy frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Present architecture to architecture review boards (ARBs), exec stakeholders, and delivery teams
• Mentor developers, solution designers, and junior architects on modern application/data stack
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, roadmaps, and reference models

to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
