Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Support & Network Specialist to manage and troubleshoot our desktop, server, and networking environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, as well as strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive desktop support for hardware, software, and peripherals across Windows and Mac, Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot and manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and file shares.
• Support and maintain Linux systems at a basic user level (file management, system commands).
• Ensure stable network performance by configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Respond to IT support tickets promptly, resolving desktop, networking, and configuration issues.
• Participate in network setup, cabling, configuration, and periodic system upgrades.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and create user guides for training purposes.
• Collaborate with IT team members on projects aimed at improving system performance, scalability, and security.
• Knowledge of Linux is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, firewalls.
• Experience managing Windows Server (user accounts, network shares).
• Familiarity with Linux systems at a user level (basic commands, package installation).
• Proven expertise in desktop support and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network security practices and monitoring tools.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Location: Wapda Town Phase 1
Shift Timing: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends Off)
