Job Description: IT & Network Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT & Network Support Engineer for our holding company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical IT & networking support and assistance to the employees , resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. The position reports to the Head of IT.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the team via phone, email, or chat channels.
• Diagnose and resolve employees' issues by analyzing symptoms, troubleshooting problems, and offering effective solutions.
• Document and track team interactions, including issue details, resolutions, and follow-up actions, in a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure timely and effective communication, keeping team informed of issue progress and resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations or after-hours support for special scenarios when required.
• Continuously develop and expand technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with the product or service being supported.
• Strive for high team satisfaction by providing excellent service and support
• Assist Head of IT in day to day IT operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (2-3 Yrs) in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in the technology industry.
• Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and systems troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and staff support software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
