IT Network Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Monitor LAN/WAN network performance and ensure continuous connectivity.

Ø Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot network issues.

Ø Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, routers, switches, and other IT equipment.

Ø Provide technical support for software installation and updates.

Ø Provide first-level IT support to employees for system, network, and application issues.

Ø Respond to IT support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Ø Implement and monitor security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.

Ø Maintain inventory of IT assets and update documentation of network configurations.

Ø Assist in data backup processes and recovery procedures.

Ø Ensure data protection standards are followed.

Ø Assist in upgrading network infrastructure and improving IT systems.

Ø Coordinate with IT vendors for maintenance, repair, and procurement of IT equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

· Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, and firewalls.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and IT support tools.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
