The Role:
We are looking for a proactive Female IT Officer to join our team at IDR. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s information technology systems and services. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, maintaining security, and providing technical support to end-users. The position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Active Directory and manage MS365 users and licenses.
Oversee MS365 Admin Centre (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Teams).
Troubleshoot Windows, Office, network connections, and desktop applications.
Manage Help Desk ticketing and IT asset management.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Assist with audio-visual setups in conference rooms.
Support remote users and create documentation for common queries.
Perform routine system checks (daily, weekly, monthly).
Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure and devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
Conduct network troubleshooting and manage firewall settings for security.
Install and manage endpoint security solutions and ensure compliance.
Monitor and respond to security alerts, investigate incidents, and prepare reports.
Collaborate with teams to address recurring security issues and maintain communication on policies.
Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems.
Comply with the principles and policies in the information security policies where relevant to the job.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT or related/relevant experience.
Experience:
4-5 years of hands-on experience in the same capacity.
Communication Skills:
Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
Other Necessary Skills:
Excellent collaboration skills to understand and align multiple stakeholders.
Able to handle tight deadlines and pressure situations.
Resilience in dealing with changing expectations and the environment.
Strong ability to understand and solve problems that arise in daily operations.
Ability to deconstruct information into smaller categories to draw conclusions.
Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Well-versed with Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure Services, Windows 11.
