We are seeking a qualified IT Officer to oversee, support, and enhance our organization's IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure technology operations.

Job Summary:

The IT Officer will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT systems, providing technical support, ensuring cybersecurity best practices, and supporting day-to-day technology operations. This role requires both problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.

· Provide technical support to staff onsite and remotely.

· Monitor system performance and implement efficiency improvements.

· Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

· Manage IT inventory, software licenses, and equipment maintenance.

· Support backup and disaster recovery planning.

· Ensure data security and compliance with internal policies.

· Assist with the implementation of new systems and technologies.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an IT support or IT administration role.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux server administration.

· Experience with network protocols, firewalls, routers, and VPNs.

· Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).

· Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
