Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, including hardware and software support, network and system security, and CCTV camera installation and monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT environment and ensuring all systems operate securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Hardware & Software Support:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain and upgrade hardware components as needed.
- Install and manage licensed software and ensure timely updates.
- Provide first-line support for software and hardware issues raised by staff.
IT Infrastructure & Network Security:
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity, and network devices (routers, switches, etc.).
- Ensure the security of systems through firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and backup solutions.
- Conduct routine system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Enforce IT policies, data protection, and access controls.
CCTV System Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV camera systems across company premises.
- Monitor CCTV systems regularly for functionality and security breaches.
- Archive and retrieve footage as required.
- Coordinate with vendors or service providers for system upgrades or troubleshooting.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of hardware/software inventory.
- Document technical procedures, support issues, and resolutions.
- Prepare periodic reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Network infrastructure and security protocols
- CCTV camera systems (installation, configuration, and monitoring)
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CCTV Installation & Maintenance Training Certificate
Working Conditions:
- May require after-hours or weekend support in case of emergencies.
- Candidates living nearby will be preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
