IT Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and multitasking IT Officer to support our technical and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both IT and office administration, capable of handling diverse responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on experience in LAN / WAN Infrastructure.
• Installing/troubleshooting new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)
• Installation and troubleshooting of CCTV / NVR / DVR.
• Ensure data backups, antivirus updates, and system security protocols are followed.
• Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
• Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software complying with given standards and guidelines.
• Support HR in coordinating admin tasks.

Skill Required:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, including system installation, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and VPN technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
