IT Officer for Network and Desktop Support

We are currently seeking a skilled Desktop Support Officer (Fresh or 1-2 years) experience to join our dynamic team and provide technical assistance to our employees.

Job Summary: As a Desktop Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Additionally, you will participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.

· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

· Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security patches.

· Set up and configure new desktop and laptop computers for employees.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

· Document and maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and configurations.

· Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.

· Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT-related topics.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in desktop support.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.

· Proven experience as a Desktop Support Officer or similar role.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and networking issues.

· Strong knowledge of Windows and others operating systems.

· Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 administration.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· IT certifications are a plus.
