Job description:
We are seeking an IT Operations Engineer with a diverse skill set encompassing basic IT helpdesk support, knowledge of business continuity practices and a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Responsibilities:

Manage and keep a record of devices, accounts and software license.

Install and configure softwares on end-user devices.

Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.

Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.

Prepare user devices, accounts and software licenses according to HR’s notice.

Support in developing & improving operational procedures in managing IT assets and resources, including user devices, accounts and software licenses.

Assist on IT-related audits and assessments where required.

Implement cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber attacks.

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications required:

A diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or its equivalent.

Strong technical knowhow on Macbooks, TCP/IP, Linux OS, firewalls, good exposure to enterprise security software and solutions.

Excellent communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, great sense of responsibility.

Capable of self learning and acquiring new knowledge and skills to be relevant and stay relevant in the files.
Preferred qualifications:

Prior experience in IT helpdesk support roles.

Experience managing Macbooks, MDM, and enterprise softwares.

Experience in providing IT support.
