Job Title: IT Operations Analyst

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office)


About the Role

CAI Software is seeking an IT Operations Analysts to support our growing team in Bangalore.
These professionals will serve as the first point of contact for technical support and local IT operations, assisting around 200 employees ranging from developers to senior leaders.

The role requires a hands-on, proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and clear communication. You’ll work closely with our global IT team to ensure smooth technology operations, provide excellent customer support, and maintain high standards of reliability and organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for desktop and laptop hardware (Windows and macOS).
  • Troubleshoot software, email, and connectivity issues for local users.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Maintain and update the local IT asset inventory (Asset Management).
  • Assist with basic networking and infrastructure tasks (Wi-Fi, VPN, cabling).
  • Collaborate with global IT and Security teams to align with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance and security initiatives (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 awareness preferred).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, or helpdesk role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11; familiarity with macOS is a plus.
    • Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
    • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
    • Experience managing IT assets and inventory.
    • Familiarity with Azure AD or AWS is a plus.
    • Awareness of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
    • Calm, patient, and customer-oriented attitude.
    • Organized, reliable, and detail-focused.
    • Ability to think independently and complete tasks without repeated instruction.
