We are seeking a skilled IT Support & Software Technician to ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations across our boutique, sales floor, back office, and production systems.
Role Overview
The IT Support & Software Technician will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, POS systems, ERP/CRM tools, networking, and software applications. This role is critical in supporting sales operations, inventory accuracy, reporting, and business continuity.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support & Infrastructure
- Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, POS machines, and networking equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in real time
- Manage LAN/Wi-Fi networks ensuring stable connectivity across boutique and office
Email, Web & Digital Systems Management
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot official company email accounts (business email setup, syncing, access issues, spam control)
- Manage domain hosting and renewals (DNS, domain configuration, email routing)
- Coordinate and support website hosting, uptime monitoring, and basic backend troubleshooting
- Liaise with hosting providers, developers, and vendors for website or email-related issues
- Ensure smooth functioning of online systems used for:
- Website inquiries
- Online forms
- Email communications with clients and partners
- Business email systems (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar)
- Domain and DNS management
- Web hosting environments (shared / cloud hosting)
- Email delivery issues
- Website access or downtime
- Domain-related configuration problems
Software & Systems Support
- Support ERP, POS, CRM, inventory, and tailoring management systems
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for updates, fixes, and enhancements
- Ensure smooth integration between sales, inventory, production, and accounts
Data & Security
- Manage data backups, system security, and user access controls
- Ensure data confidentiality for client measurements, designs, invoices, and financial records
- Implement basic cybersecurity practices (antivirus, access policies, system updates)
Operations & Process Support
- Assist sales and operations teams with system usage and reporting
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and system logs
- Support system upgrades, new store rollouts, and digital initiatives
Vendor & Asset Management
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses
- Recommend technology improvements aligned with business growth
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Support / Technician role (retail, fashion, hospitality, or service industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience with:
- POS systems
- ERP / Inventory software
- Windows OS, basic server concepts
- Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude, confidentiality, and reliability
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in fashion retail, luxury brands, tailoring houses, or hospitality environments.
- Understanding of retail workflows, sales operations, and inventory systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based ERP or CRM systems
