This position is responsible for providing technical support to computer users throughout the company via phone, email, and other technical support methods. This position installs, maintains, tests, and repairs systems and networks. Utilizes basic technical knowledge to support IT initiatives and provides first-level technical information systems support to the Company. Resolves routine technical problemsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work closely with, and take direction from, IT Manager in support of its goal of providing excellent service and technical support in a timely and professional manner.
Must be adept, knowledgeable, and highly proficient at providing technical support in a remote environment and in varying time zones.
Must be able to constantly prioritize/re-prioritize support activities, based on operational priority and/or greatest impact.
Proactively work with employees to address IT issues and service requests, gathering information necessary owning and overseeing the issue until it is resolved.
Document technical issues and take ownership of escalating issues to the appropriate resource.
Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.
Performs routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
Maintains and updates record keeping system; may document projects and maintain user instructions.
Assists with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials; performs data entry and maintenance or records such as, but not limited to project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors.
Performs routine technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves general system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.
Assists with research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new technologies.
Assists with the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and impact.
Assists with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
Provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and consistently follow-up on issues and projects as required.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
Experience and knowledge of assessing and providing solutions for Tier 1 level support.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technology certification preferred, and/or relevant equivalent experience.
Requires the ability to act in a lead capacity and manage teams or groups of individuals on projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or being on your feet for extended periods and can sometimes involve lifting and moving product.
