Role Summary

The IT Coordinator is responsible for monitoring daily IT activities, managing departmental operations, supporting tasks, and ensuring efficient backend data management. The role also includes managing reports, budget utilization, and contract follow-ups while collaborating with key stakeholders to meet organizational needs.

Primary Duties Operational Management

  • Oversee daily workflow systems within the IT department.
  • Ensure timely and efficient follow-up on IT requests and issues.
  • Assign and manage tasks in the helpdesk system while providing guidance to IT staff.

Data Management

  • Store and organize IT department data using appropriate indexing methods.
  • Maintain and update data analytics platforms for future use.
  • Create analytical reports and track IT budgets in coordination with the CTO.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Develop impactful presentations and technical documentation for leadership and colleagues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of IT files, transactions, and activities.
  • Track and monitor quotations, LPOs, delivery notes, and invoices.

Policy Development

  • Assist in creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on new tools and research.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define technical requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external IT resources and customers.

Technical Support

  • Provide IT support and coordinate the helpdesk system to resolve user issues.
  • Analyze and provide suggestions on new systems and IT projects.
  • Liaise with legal teams for contracts, renewals, revisions, and amendments.

Independence of Operation

  • Maintain all IT files, data, and reports.
  • Advise and guide IT department employees on file and document management.

Qualifications and Experience Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Information Management.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Experience in helpdesk support and IT delivery management.

Certifications

  • CAPM or equivalent Project Management certification (preferred).

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AWS Essentials, and MCSA.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, company software, AI, and Fintech.
  • Skills in process mapping tools and data analytics.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
