IT Project Manager

Our direct client is looking for an IT Project Manager for a full-time direct hire working hybrid schedule in Cypress CA.

IT Project Manager – Applications & Software Delivery

3 days week Onsite | Hybrid Schedule

Location: Cypress, CA 90630

Salary $120k - $135k plus bonus and great benefits

Strong IT Project Manager with deep experience leading application and software initiatives. This individual will drive complex projects across ERP and enterprise systems, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application and ERP projects
• Manage projects across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, and risk logs
• Drive projects using Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
• Conduct weekly project reviews and ensure timely, accurate status reporting
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to consolidate and optimize business processes
• Present updates and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including C-level leadership
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage scope, and control budgets
• Develop and document standardized project management methodologies
• Utilize PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or similar platforms
• Collaborate with global teams; experience with multi-country infrastructure projects is a strong plus

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Information Technology, or related field)
• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
• 5+ years leading application/software development projects
• Strong experience managing ERP and enterprise application implementations
• Hands-on experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated success managing timelines, budgets, and risks, able to create Project Plans
• Ability to work independently and drive results
• Strong critical thinking, facilitation, and consulting skills
• Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Experience managing global or multi-country infrastructure initiatives
• Experience building or enhancing PMO standards and methodologies
