IT Project Manager

Our Global Fortune 500 Client is seeking an experienced mid level Project Manager for a Contract role.

Role is based out of Nashville - but can be worked remote. Local to Nashville a plus but not required.

TOP 3 SKILLS: Project Management (PMP would be good, but I will accept experience). IT experience (especially Infrastructure, networking), working with global teams would be beneficial.

EXPERIENCE: 5-7 Years

• IT PM is responsible for managing cross functional, complex projects related to new technology initiatives and implementations globally. Experience leading global & diverse project implementation. Able to understand & navigate challenges due to managing remote global team members, different cultures, background, languages and time zones.
• Significant & broad experience in leading, managing, negotiating and implementing large & complex IT projects over multiple business units, applications & technologies.
• S/he will be the project owner who will develop, with the project team, the plan and milestones.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment that spans Waterfall, sAFE Agile, Incremental and iterative processes.
• The home base for this position will be Nashville, TN but can be performed remotely.
• Ability to work outside 8-5 Central Time to accommodate time zone differences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to come up to speed on new business processes, technologies or capabilities while understanding risks & implications to project deliverables, data & security.
• Experience working with vendors, IT architects & infrastructure, security & compliance.
• Capable of resolving issues, driving decision; escalating risks & motivating team members..
• Infrastructure background is a plus.
• Information Security background is a plus.

Need to be familiar with:

• Microsoft Project
• Azure Dev Ops
• Microsoft Tools (PPT, Excel, Word, TEAMS)
• PMP certification (will consider experience in place of this)
• sAFE ScrumMaster certification
• Global experience
