IT Project Manager- HR & Finance

Manama, Bahrain

Job Purpose:
Lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of single or multiple IT projects, including Risk/Compliance, Audit, HR, and Finance software implementations, within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints, while managing dynamic changes to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: End-to-end setup, implementation, and management of IT projects; develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets; manage dependencies and critical paths.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, assign duties, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Communication & Reporting: Implement communication plans, monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and maintain project documentation.
  • Risk & Change Management: Perform risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, and manage changes in project scope.
  • Acquisition & Resource Management: Estimate resources, draft budgets, negotiate with departments for personnel, and ensure adequate staffing.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP).
  • 7–10 years of direct experience in HR and Finance transformation project management, including SAP HRMS or Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
  • Experience managing technical and business projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including Waterfall-to-Agile transformations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle shifting priorities, and motivate teams.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and flexible during changes.
  • Proficient in project management software.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Projects completed on time and within budget.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders and proper risk/issue identification.
  • Minimal deviation between estimated and actual costs and schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: BD1,000.000 - BD2,000.000 per month

Experience:

  • HR and Finance Transformation” project management capacity,: 7 years (Preferred)
