Detailed Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and support complex enterprise projects and programs.
  • This role is responsible for developing key project management deliverables, including project status reports, project plans, risk and issue logs, and executive briefings.
  • The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive priorities and achieve organizational goals.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • This position reports directly to the IT PMO.
Skills Requirement:
  • Strong working knowledge of PMBOK and Agile frameworks, with the ability to plan and execute projects using either methodology and tailor approaches as needed.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the executive presence to deliver clear status updates and produce high-quality leadership-level documentation.
  • Proven ability to resolve issues, influence stakeholders, negotiate difficult situations, and maintain strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability managing technology vendors across the full project lifecycle, ensuring performance, tracking deliverables, resolving issues promptly, and mitigating risks.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) while coordinating internal IT teams and external vendors for smooth technical delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering complex web-development projects.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and Hybrid project methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Project, JIRA, and/or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong grasp of business and technology operations, priorities, policies, and resource needs.
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous assignments and drive alignment.
  • Demonstrate high-quality customer service and empathy while managing within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Certification:
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or similar certification.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management consulting or technical project management.
  • Proven experience leading highly technical teams in the development and delivery of complex systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and driving performance to meet contract commitments.
  • Experience working within a PMO preferred.
