Department: Cyber Security and Privacy
Location: Egypt, Greece, Bulgaria.
As an IT Risk Management Leader, you will be responsible for driving governance and oversight of Cyber, IT and OT risks across the organization, including third-party and cross-functional domains. You will act as a key enabler of risk-informed decision-making by identifying, assessing, and clearly communicating risks to business stakeholders and risk owners. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical risk into strategic insights, fostering engagement and promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability. You will also ensure timely, accurate, and actionable risk reporting to support executive and operational decision-making that support Cyber and IT risk objectives.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate:
- Works with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure baseline information protection controls are maintained in alignment with the risk management framework, while defining risk acceptance criteria and thresholds to support informed decisions on mitigation, transfer, or acceptance.
- Analyzes technical implementation details to identify and evaluate risks against established security and governance standards, articulating risk implications in business-relevant terms and advising on appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all risk management activities are executed in alignment with the established IT/ Cybersecurity and OT Risk Management Frameworks, driving consistency across functions and supporting effective governance, including third-party and supply chain risk management processes.
- Performs continuous identification and assessment of Cyber and IT risks.
- Supports risk management activities based on key risk frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0, ISO 27001.
- Monitors risk remediation activities, measures, and report residual risks across Cyber and IT domains.
- Create documentation, reports, and dashboards for a variety of audiences to facilitate security related decisions.
- Supports the security training programs to promote awareness and risk management culture across the organization.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge and at least 5 years of practical experience in the IT/Cyber Risk Management domain; experience or governance is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, ISO/IEC 27000 family.
- Strong ability to translate IT and Cyber risks into business context and communicate them effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, are advantages.
- Proven experience working internationally on complex assignments with various stakeholders.
