Description
The person will
lead the planning, deployment, and ongoing operational management of internet connectivity across TCF schools, ensuring timely execution, solution quality, and long-term reliability.
The role requires close coordination with regional, area, school, finance, and HO IT teams, as well as external Telcos/ISPs. The individual will be expected to proactively identify bottlenecks, drive follow-ups, and ensure measurable progress across the school network.

Lead on-ground feasibility assessments in coordination with regional, area, and school teams.

Deploying internet solutions (broadband, fiber, GSM/4G, P2P) based on site needs and availability.
Required Skills

Strong understanding of: Broadband, Fiber, GSM/4G/LTE, and P2P wireless technologies

Wi-Fi planning for multi-client environments and management of Routers, switches, access points & P2P radios

Experience in vendor and Telco coordination

Ability to conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments

Strong field deployment and troubleshooting capability

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to evaluate multiple connectivity options and recommend optimal solutions based on cost, reliability, and scalability

Strong project coordination skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives to completion

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present technical options clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Strong follow-up discipline and ability to ensure progress across multiple sites simultaneously

Ability to travel frequently and work in remote/rural environments

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience
5 years of experience in network deployment, ISP/Telco operations, or field IT infrastructure, with strong hands-on exposure to multi-site connectivity projects.
