About The Role

We're seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our growing retail technology company as a key member of our security team. The Information Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security of STORIS informational assets, maintaining, and implementing security systems, guidelines, and strategies, and protecting against unauthorized access, disclosure, disruption, modification, and/or destruction.

What You'll Do

Security Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor security systems and filter out suspicious activity
• Investigate security alerts and incidents
• Document security breaches and measure the damage caused
• Respond to and investigate security incidents
  
  

Vulnerability Management

• Install Windows operating system and third-party software driver updates
• Migrate non-compliant environnements to compliant environnements
• Deploy security solutions while understanding business impact
• Document and report on the compliance of systems for management
  
  

Risk Management & Assessment

• Assist with audits and risk assessments
  
  

Analysis & Reporting

• Perform baseline reporting on a daily basis
• Prepare content for reports and provide insights on the efficacy of current security policies, incident responses, and disaster recovery
  
  

Research & Improvement

• Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
• Commitment to continuous cybersecurity education
• This role requires a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. Because security standards evolve rapidly and outdated controls can create significant risks, the individual in this position must participate in annual mandatory continued education.
  
  

What You'll Bring

Required

Education:

• Technical certifications or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  
  

Experience

• One to three years of experience in a security analyst or related position
  
  

Strongly Preferred

• Demonstrated experience implementing and/or enforcing security and compliance frameworks such as NIST
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, etc.)
• Experience with Active Directory / Group Policy
• Experience with Sophos Central
• Experience with PDQ
