IT Service Desk Technician

Description:

This role can be worked from any location in the Minneapolis Market.

The Service Desk Technician is an integral member of the IT Service Team. With a focus on providing an excellent user experience, the Technician will provide remote and onsite support to Internal Team Members related to Software and Hardware through various channels including phone, chat, incidents, and requests.

  • Answers inbound calls and chats to assess issue, documents discovery information within ticketing system. Works to provide resolution to issues. Documents troubleshooting steps, resolution and closes ticket or escalates to respective internal team.
  • Works submitted incidents and requests effectively and efficiently to meet SLA. Work includes interaction with submitter to assess issue: documents discovery information within ticketing system. Works to provide resolution to issues. Documents troubleshooting steps, resolution and closes ticket or escalates to respective internal team.
  • Provide remote computer support, walk up support, and other duties as assigned.
  • Curator of great user experience. You understand the importance of providing an excellent user experience and work to provide it in everything you do.
Requirements:
  • Experience with common end user applications including Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Technology enthusiast with familiarity with various operating systems and platforms that can creatively solve problems and think critically.
  • Resourceful individual with ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communications; must be able to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures through the effective use of Knowledge and Standard Operating Procedures


Travel Requirement

This position requires travel to support business needs, including team collaboration, internal trainings, association conferences, client visits and cross-functional initiatives. The frequency and duration of travel will vary based on organizational priorities and team needs.

The base salary for this role is listed below. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. The base salary may vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, experience and geographic location. Full time employees are also eligible for a competitive bonus and benefits package.
