As an IT software developer consultant on our Digital Customer Communications team, you will define the future‑state architecture of our digital communications and Salesforce Marketing Cloud landscape, focused on direct customer communications. You’ll create roadmaps for digital communications services and guide the evolution of our multichannel engagement capabilities. In this role, you’ll establish a personalization‑at‑scale strategy and enhance the out‑of‑the‑box Marketing Cloud functionality of Marketing Cloud. You’ll design scalable, secure, and measurable customer experiences that drive direct customer engagement. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with our Business, IT, Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Security and Compliance teams to modernize our implementation and integrate connected technologies.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

• Minimum of 11 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} The completion of a technical training program and 8 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 8 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

Preferred skills

• Seven or more years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules (e.g., Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, SQL Query Activities) and API integrations at enterprise scale.
• Demonstrated experience crafting personalization at scale using event‑driven and batch data flows, segmentation, and orchestration across backend applications, including integrations between SFMC and AWS, for enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL, data architecture experience, enterprise architecture skills, with the experience translating business requirements into technical roadmaps and scalable, secure solutions tied to enterprise data warehousing.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, API-based integrations, and job orchestration for production-grade deployments, preferably within regulated industries.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Consultant, Developer), familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, and a solid understanding of the currently published Salesforce architectural vision and product offerings for enterprise implementations.

Compensation

• $163,000 - $193,000/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
