The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to oversee and manage the company’s technological infrastructure and ensure seamless technical operations for our marketplace platform.

This role will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, supporting e-commerce platform integrations, and ensuring data security and technical scalability throughout the pre-launch and post-launch phases.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Support

Manage, monitor, and maintain IT systems, servers, and network performance.

Provide technical support to internal teams and resolve IT-related issues efficiently.

Set up and configure hardware, software, and user accounts.

Oversee regular system backups, disaster recovery plans, and data protection protocols.

Platform & Infrastructure Management

Support e-commerce platform development, integrations, and maintenance.

Ensure uptime, speed, and technical stability of the marketplace website and apps.

Collaborate with developers to manage hosting environments and system updates.

Manage vendor relationships with IT and technology service providers.

Security & Compliance

Implement cybersecurity measures and monitor for vulnerabilities.

Maintain compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT policies.

Develop documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and policies.

Innovation & Optimization

Identify and recommend technology improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Support automation and process enhancement initiatives.

Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to e-commerce and digital operations.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, network management, or system administration.

Experience in e-commerce platforms, web hosting, and integration tools preferred.

Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, cloud systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Familiarity with cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance standards.

Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
